There are so many things to be thankful for this year in addition to friends and family:
- The wonderful weather
- We didn’t have any wildfires this year (so far, knock on wood!)
- Oranges and avocados are ripe on backyard trees all over Fallbrook (including mine)
- The Fallbrook community — Fallbrook isn’t just a collection of houses, we help each other out and pull together
- Fallbrook drivers who are almost all courteous to pedestrians
- All of our local clubs, groups and nonprofits — taking care of our community
- Volunteers — the backbone of Fallbrook, people who make a difference every day
- Our public library — bringing the world to us, for free
- All the local small businesses who make our town so great and unique
- The county that takes care of infrastructure in our unincorporated community
