Learn the basics of book binding with Lilith Meredith

Art in unexpected places

One of the things that Iove about Fallbrook is how art is displayed all over. This little guy is called Casual Reader and it’s by the main door of the Fallbrook Public Library. The piece was done by Jim Helms, a sculptor who lives right here in Fallbrook.

Friday night at the movies — The Mission Theater is reopening – TONIGHT

Now that we’re in orange tier, indoor events at 25% capacity can resume. The Mission Theater at 231 N. Main Ave is scheduling new movie events, with only 75 tickets to be sold for each movie.

Tickets are available by invitation only — send email to fallbrookmissiontheater@gmail.com to be added to the invite list. Early bird pricing is $7 per person if purchased 5:30 to 6:00 the day of the show. After 6 pm, tickets are $10.

I think I’ve forgotten what movie popcorn tastes like, after a year of Netflix on the couch! Beer, wine, hot dogs, nachos, pizza, popcorn, candy, and drinks available.
