Scores were announced for 23 applications received for Community Health Grants for fiscal year 2023-2024 Grants. The FRHD budget for this year’s Grants was previously set at $500,000. The application requests totaled over $800,000, requiring that many be rejected. See attached Grant application summary sheet. The Grants highlighted in green and yellow were approved “in principle” with several suggested changes by the Board that brought the total approved down to the budgeted $500,000. Some of these individual amounts are still subject to revision as FRHD goes through the application process.
The applications in Red were denied outright, but the applicants encouraged to try again next year.
