Shop at a safe distance at the Downtown Outdoor Mall

Lots of free parking! On the weekends, Main Ave downtown is blocked off. On Saturdays it’s a street fair and outdoor mall (aka the Fallbrook Farmers Market) from 10 to 2. Shop and eat while safely keeping your distance.

Even after the Farmers Market vendors close up, the downtown merchants and restaurants are serving up safe distanced food and shopping. Easy in, easy out, keeping safe during this fall season of the pandemic.

Huge free parking lot between Main and Mission. Sorry, no dogs allowed at the outdoor market.

Fallbrook has 50% more COVID cases this week than last week — new restrictions start Saturday 11/21

Fallbrook’s COVID case numbers have increased approx 50% from last week to this week. As you can see from the map above, the north county is solidly purple now.

NEW RESTRICTION: With a goal of reducing people’s exposure to the virus, starting Saturday November 21: DO NOT interact with anyone outside your household from 10 pm to 5 am.

Pandemic fatigue has set in, but as predicted, the virus is roaring back now that we’re indoors more as the weather gets cooler. So we all need to re-double our efforts to keep our distance, wear masks, wash hands.

Last week, the California COVID tier map was a patchwork of colors, but this week, it’s almost solidly purple, so we’re not the only area that’s seeing increased COVID cases. 94% of California’s population is now in purple tier restrictions, seeing widespread virus penetration.

San Diego County is going to be staying in purple tier for at least another two weeks, til December 5. The county has stepped up enforcement of COVID restrictions.

Masks and distancing aren’t stopping the music. This September concert will blow you away! Handmade instruments, gigantic violins that you won’t see anywhere else. Take a look at the cello-y instruments that aren’t the right size, they’re actually violins.
