On April 10, the county Board of Supervisors approved reducing the speed limit from 50 to 45 mph on Mission between Winter Haven Road and just south of Rocky Crest. Click here to read the official minutes of that meeting
The new speed limit will take effect on May 10, but signs may appear any time now.
At the same time, the Board of Supervisors approved radar enforcement of the current 35 mph speed limit on Mission Road from Rocky Crest through to North Hill Ave / West Mission Road.
